What is
a Kobot?

Kobots — short for Synthetic Kobolds — are a fictional synthetic species.

They combine artificial intelligence with a kobold-shaped body. They’re small enough to work in tight spaces, and their parts can be replaced or customized to suit different jobs and designs.

Beneath
the surface.

Under the outer plates is a woven nanocarbon layer that can be hard as diamond or soft as silk. Synthetic muscles handle movement, while the eyes work much like biological ones.

Keria V
& its moons.

Keria V is mostly ocean, with small islands and aquatic farms. Its larger moon, Koishuma, is home to Kocore Industrial Sentient Systems, the company behind Kobots in the original story.
